Fighting the World's Enemy
The print has a screen size of 448 x 336 pixels, which makes reading some of the captions on the maps fairly impossible! The quality is a bit fuzzy but I found that viewing it at double size using the Quicktime player worked quite well. Full screen on flat-screen monitor didn't.
The film tells the story of the Spanish civil war in the 1930s from the point of view of the German volunteers, who came to fight against the world's enemy: Communism. The sound quality is quite good and the tone of the commentary, which is in German, is "routine Nazi triumphal".
There are looks behind the scenes, e.g. at the reconnaissance activities of the Luftwaffe Kondor squadron, and the film offers a comprehensive look at the technologies of warfare in the run-up to World War II.
